FlexSim Forum and Technical Support changes

As of April 2025, the FlexSim Answers forum has been migrated to the Autodesk Forums. This strategic move aimed to enhance user experience and streamline community engagement for FlexSim users.

The Autodesk Forums platform will allow the FlexSim community to grow into a more self-sustaining, peer-to-peer support hub. FlexSim support engineers will continue to visit the forum as often as possible, but we look forward to FlexSim users being empowered to help each other, making this a truly community-led space.

All FlexSim users, regardless of their license type or status, can access this new space on Autodesk Forums and the Autodesk Learn platform, combining community-led support with extensive learning resources. Just make sure to create an Autodesk account to access the content.

In addition, entitled customers with a subscription or an actively maintained license will be able to get help by FlexSim support engineers by creating a ticket in the Support section within their FlexSim account. Please visit https://www.flexsim.com/support/ for additional information on technical support workflows.

Hi everyone,

As a former user of the old forum, I am still adapting to this new change. One of the modifications that causes me the most confusion is that, previously, when posting a question, there was a specific field to enter your license with maintenance reference. If I am not mistaken, I believe this information was used as a filtering criterion to prioritise support from FlexSim experts.

Currently, this field is no longer requested in the posting template.
I would like to know: is this information no longer used to prioritise responses?

Another detail that used to be in a dedicated field is the software version of the model. This field is no longer included in the posting template. I believe this may create noise when receiving help. Personally, I now add it manually in the content of my post, unlike before when it was a required field.

Thank you for your continuous evolution and dedication to improving the user experience.
I am a passionate and convinced user of this incredible software.
