Hi everyone,
I am having an issue with FlexSim on a Windows ARM64 laptop and I would like to understand whether this is a compatibility problem or if there is a possible fix.
My system:
- Windows 11 ARM64
- ARM-based processor (not x64 emulation hardware)
- Educational license correctly detected
- VPN connection through WireSock Secure Connect works correctly
The problem is the following:
- FlexSim starts normally
- The 3D view and grid are visible
- The object library is visible
- However, I cannot place any objects into the model (drag & drop does nothing)
- Double-clicking objects also does not work
- When creating a new model, I only see the unit of measure options; the default walking operator/avatar does not appear
- Opening existing models also shows an empty 3D grid
This makes me think the issue may be related to:
- OpenGL/rendering,
- ARM64 compatibility,
- or x64 emulation limitations on Windows ARM.
Has anyone experienced something similar on ARM-based Windows devices (in my case, Snapdragon)?
Is FlexSim officially supported on Windows ARM64?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
