There are many reasons that your software could fail to install, from a full hard drive to inadequate user permissions, a corrupted installer to a missing required component.
Please check our article regarding installation and startup issues, which covers all these cases and more. If you try all those suggestions and still can't get the software installed, the final item there suggests Windows' Event Viewer to get lower-level system error information about what is going on.
