Extendable conveyor

Hello all,

Is it possible to have an extendable conveyor in Flexsim ? Can the length of a conveyor be changed during the simulation ? For example when a truck arrives at the loading gate the conveyor should extend until it enters the truck.

You don't want to change the size or position of conveyors while objects are on them, but you can change their shape before more objects enter the conveyors. The kinematics are calculated when an item enters a conveyor and doesn't recalculate while it is on the conveyor. Here is an example model that demonstrates an extendable conveyor.
