[ FlexSim 22.2.0 ]

Can the order of the items output on the Queue be used to find the best order using the experimenter?

If possible, can you give me an example of how the parameters should be set...

Hi @Han,

It's hard to know how to help without looking at your model. To receive a more accurate solution, please post your model or a sample model that demonstrates your question.

Proprietary models can be posted as a private question visible only to FlexSim U.S. support staff. You can also contact your local FlexSim distributor for phone or email help.

optimizing order is currently a variation of combinations. Then you are responsible to release items in different order yourself. 3D logic with connections and triggers uses commands like releaseitem to control a script based flow. Process Flow uses moveobject activity.
For an experimenter setup you can write different variation strategies into a send to port function which you can activate by a parameter or label value. You change in experiments these values then. I would activate in statistic menu “repeat random streams“ and in experimenter repeat scenarios to one. This applies well to find an optimized order for a timed process. If you are interested in Machine Learning features of FlexSim you should consider to deactivate “repeat random streams” and use large values for repeating scenarios.
