[ FlexSim 19.2.0 ]

Good Morning! Does anyone have a lean manufacturing GUI already made up I could doctor and use?

Keeping it simple and not repeat what is already available. I want something similar to the Roller Coaster window in the training module.per piece; Goal: reduce space used, travel, operator time, and improve flow AND show value-added results. Any input would be greatly appreciated. I am doing one partition at a time. Thanks! Caryol

Hi @Caryol D,

Sorry about the delayed response. Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any general purpose GUIs available, but maybe someone on the forum happens to have one. The problem with general tools in FlexSim is that most models are built to such unique specifications that it's uncommon to have something that could be applied as a "template" to other models.

Additionally, the roller coaster model is built in a very outdated version of FlexSim and you'd be better off using a custom dashboard or custom GUI as the newer software is more powerful.

That said, if you would like help creating a custom dashboard/GUI, we are happy to point you in the right direction and make that possible. The best place to start would be in the User Manual in the section, Key Concepts About GUIs. Feel free to comment back with your thoughts.

Hi Tanner 🙂 Thank you for your response. I appreciate your input. The amount of space the process is using is usually one of the biggest improvements - because it combines (time, travel, people, bottlenecks) If anyone comes up with GUI let me know. I will keep working on it. It is great show- and- tell tool for making changes, both the images and the $$. Flexsim is the new Kaizen.(with actual numbers, normal processes) It was a pleasure meeting you btw:) Keep in touch. Caryol
