Based on your question, it sounds like you need a scheduling tool. Your best bet is to use a Time Table. You can define when you want machines to be available to perform operations. I'll attach a basic example in which the operators are part of a Time Table, which causes them to only work during certain hours (shifts; 6AM-9AM and 9AM-12PM).
