Create hash of a table for quick difference checking?

I have a large global table that I want to check if cell values in it have changed between two points in time. Has anyone ever used hashing to compare? I want to avoid having to copy the entire table then doing a systematic cell by cell comparison between the old table snapshot versus the current table at the new point in time.

Bumping this one more time for visibility. Guessing there isn't a way to do this?

I think there is definately a way to do this. After all, one can implement almost any code in FlexSim directly. And if that is not possible, connecting to external C/C# or python code is possible.

The lack of answers just means that apparently nobody who frequents this forum has experience with this (including me). I would start by trying to implement a simple hash function like Fletcher's checksum (Wikipedia) and see if it can reliably detect that there were changes and if it is actually faster than comparing each cell value.
