Crane Speeds vs. Travel Speeds

What is the different on a crane between the crane speeds and the travel speeds.

If, for example, I set the Gantry speed to 195 ft/min and the Max Travel Speed to 393.7, what speed does the crane actually move?

If, for example, I set the Max Travel speed to 195 ft/min and the Grantry speed to 393.7, what speed does the crane actually move?

The speeds that are used depend on the Navigator that the crane is connected to.

By default, the crane isn't connected to a Navigator at all, so the "travel speeds" are grayed out because they aren't used.

If you connect the Crane (for example) to a Network Navigator, then those fields will be editable.

When the Crane travels on the network, it will use those speeds in combination with the speed limits on the network node edges.

When the Crane does offset travel that doesn't use the navigator, it will use its "crane speeds" because it is navigating itself.

You can test this pretty easily by using very large or very small numbers in order to see when different values are being used.

Thanks! Your explanation is helpful. In my case, it let me use both numbers (nothing grayed out). It was set to the "DefaultNavigator" and "Travel offsets for load/unload tasks". Therefore, since it is not attached to a network, I am assuming that it is using the crane speeds as you mentioned.
