Hello, friends. I am currently working on crane collisions, but sometimes adjusting the proximity radius is too small and the code does not execute. Sometimes adjusting the proximity radius is executed. I want to figure out the reason. The following figure shows that if the proximity radius is 5, crane 1 will avoid collision, but if the proximity radius is 2, the code will not be executed. Additionally, the main roles of proximity radius and collision radius in the proxy system are sometimes unclear to me.

My comment in your previous question shows a solution with additional inserted queues to be collision partners on bridge runners of cranes. https://answers.flexsim.com/comments/174141/view.html

@lovestudy,

I attach an partly working model. There are still conditions, when a crane runs through another crane. I am struggeling where and when I update priority values to define which crane must go away rather than to finish his transport job.crane_collision_23_prevent_collision_unfinished.fsm

Hello, friend. You can try writing the priority using code in the proximity detection system. Priority can be set according to your task type.

@lovestudy, feel free to do this on your own. Currently it is only a proof of concept and it is not a working solution. So be so kind and improve in anyway.
