Conditional Release from Process

I am simulating a processor where I would like the release to be conditioned on downstream factory conditions. The release should be conditioned on a conditioned several stations away in the factory. I am modeling using 3d components. Is there an easy to hold the job at the processor (Processor stays busy) after the process time is complete based on a downstream condition. Can I do this using 3d modeling?

Yes - select "Do Not Release" in the SendTo port and then when you want to release use releaseitem() passing in the port to release through.
