A co-worker and I are creating smaller models of the different operational areas of a warehouse that will need to be combined into a larger model that will simulate a full warehouse. What is the best way to combine these models?

I've tried copying and pasting but the custom 3D visuals, which are saved on a network drive, do not appear. Ie. I have Processors where we changed the visual to a custom .skp file. The file path is still pointing to the network drive location, but the visual isn't appearing.

You need to save the custom visual shape file to the folder which the model is saved.

You could look into splitting up the file using XML. It requires to be able to have 'borders' in the tree. But that can be achieved by using container objects and separate Process Flows.

This way multiple people can work on the same model in parallel, only comitting changes to their area of the model to a centrally saved master file.
