[ FlexSim 23.1.3 ]

Hi Team,

I am having access to remote pc apart from my pc and I would like to utilize it for running replications. I tried it after checking multiple posts, but I couldn't do it successfully.

I have few questions to be clear:

1. Do I need to install FlexSim on my remote pc to make use of it?

2. Whether I need to make any change in port number?

3. What number to specify in CPUs cell? Is that the number of CPU we want to use?

4. Can we extend it to some more pcs?

5. Whether it utilizes the RAM of another pc as well?

Please add the addition info if required.

Thank you!

Yes you need to install FlexSim and have the webserver running.

The port number is whatever you have the webserver set to use on that machine.

The CPU num tells FlexSim how many cores for replications are available to it, and is your preference. Don't exceed the number of cores or available memory of the machine.

Yes, you can add as many PCs as you like

Yes, it uses the remote machines memory.

Thanks! @Jason Lightfoot

I understood that I have to install FlexSim on the remote pc too. but I didn't get the webserver part. Is there any application which I need to install for webserver.

Can you elaborate more on it?
