Can Flexsim simulation be controlled from VB.net

[ FlexSim 21.1.3 ]

My requirement is to send control signals from VB.net application to FlexSim and with this instructions the FlexSim model should start running. To be more specific, if From Vb.net application a instruction is given "Fanuc robot should pick the item" then if this instruction is received by FlexSim the Fanuc robot should do this task.

Is there some ways to achieve this :

1. How instruction can be sent from VB.Net to FlexSim ?

2. How FlexSim receives instructions from outside source like VB.Net ?

3. How can a Robot be controlled based on the instruction received ?

Can someone here help me to understand the feasibility of these process in FlexSim. If possible, then how can this be achieved any help in documentation or models or process flow for this to be achieved ?

Thanks in Advance.

@David Seo im trying to figure out how i can send some instruction from vb.net to flexsim software to control models. How flexsim needs to be integrated with vb.net framework and make connection between them to send control from vb net to flexsim.

Any help in it ?

If you wan to direct interface with your VB.net application, I recommend you to use C++ dll or python etc. Below link will help you.

If indirect interface with FlexSim like database or PLC communication, you can use database connection or PLC connection emulator module. You can find them in Toolbox.
