I am working on process simulations in FlexSim and I am looking for a tool or approach that can actively suggest improvements, rather than just simulate a predefined setup.
More specifically, I am interested in whether there is any AI-based or intelligent tool that can:Analyze an existing FlexSim model
Suggest optimal or near-optimal values for parameters such as:
Number of operators
Conveyor lengths
Resource allocation
Buffer sizes or batching logic
Evaluate alternatives based on performance metrics like throughput, WIP, or utilization
What I am looking for is not only running experiments, but something closer to decision support, where the system helps guide design choices instead of relying entirely on manual trial-and-error.
Does FlexSim provide anything in this direction, or are there third-party tools, plugins, or workflows that people have successfully used with FlexSim for this purpose?
If anyone has experience with AI-assisted optimization, intelligent search, or recommendation systems in simulation projects, I would really appreciate your insights.
