a questions about conveyors

Hello,

I have a queastion for the model attached. It is an AS/RS model with 4 exit transfers as shown below:

Because the operators have load and unload time when picking up a pallet, after a while the conveyors are being congested with the reasult that the model stops. Is there any way i can manage to stop the congestion without adding exit transfers? Or this is the only way?ASRS - 4 CB.fsm

What is meant to happen with the boxes and pallets when they enter the buffer? At the moment they just seem to be shuffled in and out by the transports - none of the boxes leave the buffer1.

Also - you've doubled up items being pushed to lists - the Buffer1 Process detects items entering and pushes to Buffer Items and the buffer itself has an entry trigger that is is pushing to the list "operator_picking" off which nothing is ever pulled.

I've uniquely numbered the boxes at creation so you can see what's happening in the operator_picking list.

I think the model is in this state since you originally specified the problem differently but have continued to use the same process flows for a different purpose for which it is not longer fit.
