Media File Supported formats?

Hi There,

Im currently trying ti import live action clips. The file format is QT .MOV files

however only the audio is viewable once imported into the Media Hub?

Is this a restriction on the training edition or am I missing something?

Thanks in Advance

Le Souf

Hi,

What is the codec used with the Quicktime wrapper?

You can look at the Quicktime player movie inspector in order to figure it out.

As mentioned in the Flame training edition documentation, the following codecs are not supported in that version:

· AAC, MPEG 2, MPEG 4 and MP3 codecs are unavailable throughout the application, including for compressed intermediates.

Please let me know,

Regards,
Yann

I was hoping to mess with some footage shot on an Sony FS700 camera. The training version doesn't seem to like either the native AVCHD or the clip wrapped versions which re wraps the files as H.264 QT's. I don't see either listed in the docs as unsupported?

It's not a huge deal...just wanted to mess with these particular shots.
