Slow import and rendering

In a closed network environment, Flame 2024.2.2 connected to a NAS via a 10GbE link on a Linux OS.

Due to a licensing issue with Flame, we temporarily disconnected the closed network and connected the system to the internet. After restoring the network back to its original closed configuration, we started experiencing severe performance degradation during rendering and importing through the MediaHub.

It now behaves as if it is operating over a standard 1GbE closed network connection, rather than the intended 10GbE speed.

Hello pch15963!

I doubt this is a Flame issue. Flame accesses the defined NAS mountpoint like it does for any storage location so is it possible that after the network startup the workstation 10GB network connection has been lost? You might want to ensure that 10G interface is up.

I would recommend to validate the performance you get from your NAS mountpoint outside of Flame.

As a result of NAS read and write tests over files, the speed is fine.

But this flame that is toxic when running Test Disks has a lower read fps of 1/10 that of other equipment.

In addition, this flame has a high rendering speed.

We have a total of three flames, of which only mediahub and rendering through this equipment is slow down.

All the settings for the three equipment are the same and the only difference is that only one equipment has recently reinstalled the flame

I am having the same problem on my ASUS Zenbook Pro 17, AMD Ryzen 9 6000 series (6900HX) with 32GB Memory - Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 - 1TB SSD. My first AE export with no effects was quick but I now have scenes with Turbulent Displace, Displacement Map, CC Flow Motion, and Directional Blur. I'm Exporting for the best quality of course and the export is at 90% going on 48 hours https://100001.onl/ . There's no way I can work this way if this is going to be the norm. I plan on renting a MacBook Pro and seeing if it has the same issue.
