You can add files to your Media Storage folders to save imported and rendered data, but how do you delete the folders and other information you've registered from the Media Storage section?
Also, is there a maximum number of files you can register?
Hello otokoishi!
All the data located under the Media Storage location is managed by Flame Family products and the moment the content is not more referenced, it gets deleted and you will get back room on your storage.
Since deleting a Media Storage location is quite dangerous, we do not offer in-application ways to delete this location. You can remove the link to the Media Storage in the Setup application and manually delete the location from your storage.
Thank you for your reply. I understand that how to remove the Media Storage.
I was thinking of changing the save location depending on the project, but should I stop using it like that?
You have a limit of 8 Media Storages so you could create a Media Storage per project and when a project is done, you could remove the Media Storage if need be. When creating a project, just select the Media Storage you want to use for a given project.
Thank you for your reply. I understand that there is a limit of 8 media storages.
I have a question about how to manage data. I was thinking of changing the save location for each project like Adobe Premiere, but please let me know the best way to manage data in Flame.
