You need to be in super user mode for commands to work

So what do you do if you use other Autodesk products? I use Maya and Mudbox. Why can't autodesk products work together? Why does the installer say successful when Flame isn't there? Jeez guys come on

Yeah this just happened with me too. Did the uninstall but the Flame install didn't work. Now I have to reinstall Maya. Jeezus I wish these clowns had some quality assurance people.

Reinstalled Maya, that worked fine. Why can I install Maya and not Flame? Is it because it's a trial? So confused... is this why Nuke is the new industry standard?

I'm at my wits end. Autodesk Flame 2020 for High Sierra is installed, thanks for the information given, however, it will NOT open. It tries to open but immediately closes. It never asked us for the serial number, so I'm guessing that it didn't install correctly. We did notice that the installer didn't create the discreet folder.

We've lost so much time and money over Autodesk over the years and I wonder if it's worth continuing to use the products?

We even tried to download the trial version, after issuing all of the above terminal commands and GOT THE EXACT SAME THING. Someone please help fix this situation.

This, in fact, did not help our situation. We have someone from Autodesk team-viewer into our computer and it took him about 30 minutes to get it to work. It had something to do with the install daemon not functioning correctly. Our editors have used Smoke and wanted to try Flame, but I'm not sure this will be an easy decision for us now.
