Keyboard Shortcuts Not All Working

Completely flatted our Z840, installed Centos 7.6 and installed 2022.0.1, now certain shortcuts aren't working; alt-click on a clip is not showing the clip info, print screen opens up snapshot rather than going to the primary track. I've tried creating a new user but no difference. Anybody got any ideas????

Hello @carlwalters,

Flame 2022 no longer creates a new Flame user profile at the CentOS level so you'll need to do one of the following:

1. Run the customizeUser.py script located in /opt/Autodesk/<flame version>/bin/res

The script cannot be run on the CentOS User profile you are currently logged in, so you need to log as root or as another user to modify the user of your choice. You can run customizeUser.py --help for more information on how the script works.

2. Manually fix the conflicts. In your case, you want to change:

  • System Settings > Window Behaviour > Window Behaviour > Window Actions > Modified Key from Alt to Meta
  • Disable PrintScreen in System Settings > shortcuts and Gestures > Custom Shortcuts > Presets Actions

These steps shouldn't be required for systems running Flame in CentOS 8.2.

Please accept this as a solution if you feel your question has been answered.
