Hi. Recently sorted a wiretap project sharing issue out and both seats work fine when both crates are on and the background tasks are running i.e. wiretap gateway, etc. However, if either crate if off then the other slow downs to a crawl - both fine if the other is turned on and some backgroun tasks can see the other crate - media for affected projects is stored on local storage so no media to pull across.
I cannot believe both seats need to be on all the time if there is no use for one of them (we are in a share environment with Avid/flame/monitoring so if no bookings or just Avid in use, people turn the Flame linus or Assist Mac seat off.
So, is there a simple run-time setting or config to stop the slowness? Something to say do not bother trying to communicate with the other seat when it's not present?
Thanks.
Steve
