Flame 2017 ext1 sp1 huge BUG ?????

hello Flamer´s out there,

there is an Bug in the corrent Version of Flame.

If i swap the media in the timeline with an BFX, the entire BFX gets lost ...

The only way to get away with it, is to copy the clip the into next videolayer, swap the media and drag BFX over the new clip in the Timeline.

H,mmmmm.

Is there someone else deteced the same thing, out there?

greeting from Hamburg

Hi,

Thanks for reporting.

Was the issue reported to our Technical Support team?

If so, can I please get the case number for reference?

If not, can you please open a case with them?

As a reminder, the only way to ensure that a bug is being looked at by our team is to report it to our Technical Support team.

Looking forward for your response,

Regards,

Yann

This is the "expected" behaviour as the bfx and the source are at the same level in the segment. If you want to replace the media that is inside the bfx, you need to enter the bfx and drag and drop on the clip node in the schematic (or use swap media via the BFX timeline tab).

Hope this helps,

Was this always the way it worked?  I have to admit I use BFX sparingly, but I felt like it used to work the way the rest of the timeline effects work, with ****+Ctrl+R swapping the clip while retaining the effect.
