Single point thread mill

This is a two part question. First, Why isn't there a field to add a custom curve tool for thread mills? Second, Why can't I get this correct? It's a metric single point thread mill for doing M4 x .7 threads. What am I doing wrong?

                                                                                      Thanks Karl

Hi,

I can agree you can't use custom tools for threadmilling. You can cheat with make a threadmilling with the tool there are in the crib, then convert this to toolpath, and add the custom tool you have.

You can take a look in this video to see how I have made it.

There need to be entered a development wish:-)

Thank you,

Jacob
