"Autodesk PartMaker SwissCAM 2021" Post Processor for "Tornos Micro 8" "Fanuc 32i - Model A"

Hello!

Could somebody please point me in the right direction for a post processor?

I'm led to believe that the best software for a Swiss machine (Tornos Micro :cara_con_gafas_de_sol: is PartMaker and the correct post processor would be a "Fanuc 32i - Model A".

Furthermore, i would like to know if there is a Fanuc 32i post for FeatureCam? As it seams a bit easier to learn and manouver around.

I have been trying to tackle this problem for almost a month now and can't get a grip on it.

Are you going through ADSK directly for your subscription or a reseller?

If you are working through a reseller, I encourage you to reach out to them directly to facilitate your post-processor request. Otherwise, submit a support case requesting this post, and it should get routed to the correct team.

As for your question on FeatureCAM, if you are programming Swiss machines, I honestly would have to recommend that you stick with PMK. PMK is, from what I understand, the best solution on the market for Swiss. FC does have a Swiss module, but considering how long PMK has been developed for Swiss, vs. FeatureCAM, it's very hard to make an argument that FC is better at swiss. If you are just doing a small amount of Swiss, and a lot more milling, and turning work, then looking into FC may be worth your time. Hopefully, that little bit of extra color is helpful to you. Whatever path you choose, I really do have to recommend you pursue a training course. Being trained by a software and industry expert is an invaluable experience, and can really cut through all the initial pain of getting going on a software. If you are working with a reseller, I encourage you to reach out to them directly to see what trainings they offer.

Thanks, yes i'm going through a reseller. But BOY are they slow. I get a reply to ONE of my five questions and get the reply around once in two weeks :cara_que_ríe_con_la_boca_abierta_y_los_ojos_sonrientes:

But yeah, i want to get training as well, it's just that where i live there isn't much training besides the 20 YT videos.

Okay, thank you for the reply, i will shoot forward with PartMaker and try to get something from the reseller.
