Dear Partmaker team,

We have tested Partmaker 2020 on Win 10 Pro -64bit, but we found that could not create advanced surface machining. Finishing and Patern Finishing - NG.

Please see video for detail:

https://www.dropbox.com/s/mvwnxvwpa7fujyg/swiss%20milling.avi?dl=0

Then we tested Partmaker 2020 on Win 7 Pro -64bit, with same file, there is no issued (OK).

Please any advise??

Thanks,

Agus

This sounds like it may be an issue with Exchange in the background.

Try following the steps in this article (except replace the 2018 references with 2020), and let me know if that works.

***CORRECTION***

It actually looks like there may be some sort of conflict with PMK connecting to Exchange 2020. Disregard my comment about running 2020.

You want to run the 2018 COM register. This should correct the issue. Let me know if that works.

Hi Kelbie,

Thanks for your advice. But still no improvement.

I try with 2 PC with same OS Win 10 Pro -64bit. The result was same. ASM only work for roughing toolpath.

Detail on video at attchment.

Thanks,

Agus

I have the same problem but with Surface Projection tool paths.

I have tried the work arounds that used to work after ADEU 2019 caused the same problem with PMK2018.

It looks like an issue that the dev team need to look at fast!

Everything should now be fixed with installing v2021. With v2020 it depended on what version you were on and which version of Exchange was registered. Installing v2021 updates everything correctly.
