Old 'Delcam' forum

Hello forum users

The new Autodesk forums have been active for over 6 months, and we will soon close and completely retire the old 'Delcam' forums. 

However, we are aware that the old forums contain a lot of useful information that users still want to access. We will therefore take a 'snapshot' of the existing board, and turn it into a static HTML page. This page will no longer require a login to download any attachments. 

The only downside is that because of the way the new mechanism works, any files that you download will be converted into zip files. When you download a file, you will need to make a note of the original attachment name, and then rename the zip file accordingly.

Please could you try the temporary version of the FeatureCAM forum here:

Took a quick look and the site seems to perform better, there is very little lag when I search or explore the posts. Didn't find any issues, just did a couple quick searches and downloaded a file.

The zip download filename thing isn't much of an issue since the compressed file inside does have the correct filename. The file is saved as a .php, so renaming to .zip and unzipping isn't much of a bother.

The search has been fixed. It was a change in the Google handles search strings.

Supplement for renaming .php If the file in the forum is a .zip change file in .zip, the file is a .rar file change in .rar thus reusing the original format from the forum or changing it to the original format from the forum.
Ergänzung für das Umbenennen von .php Ist die Datei im Forum eine .zip Datei ändern in .zip ist die Datei eine .rar Datei ändern in .rar folglich das Original Format vom Forum wieder verwenden bzw in das Original Format vom Forum ändern.
