No way to access the Edit SCL Code dialog in 2020?

The Edit SCL Code dialog was a tool that I used occasionally to subdivide curves, specifically to generate plunge points along a path, as per this technical note.

The option to enable it still exists in the hidden menu, but the UI has no way to access it. Turning off the ribbon doesn't help, the option doesn't show up in the edit menu.

Am I missing something, or has this useful tool been abandoned?

I closed all opened documents and then started a new blank one and it is then enabled.

Yes, that works, and can also be added to the ribbon now (is in the Select and Edit group in the default Home tab), although it has no icon.

Thank you!

Some days I like to think of myself as a FeatureCAM expert, and then other days someone points out a completely new option in the software that I've never used before and makes me feel like a newbie again. Funny enough, I reported to the author of that article for years, including when he wrote that, and still didn't even know about or use that option.

Thanks for posting this! This is super cool. To speak to your note about there not being an icon... I'm going to reach out internally and see if there is either a way to correct this or at the very least, flag it to dev.

If you really wanted to, I suppose you should technically be able to write a small macro that simply opens this dialog. This would allow you to assign your own icon to it, and then stick it in your Quick Access Toolbar.

Either way, I apologize for the inconvenience, and thanks for bringing this to our attention! Also, big shoutout to @bhorstTGM48 for always being a boss and helping people out! The whole community appreciates it! Here's a gold star for your efforts: :estrella_brillante:
