Helical Entry Tool RPM Overide?

Is it possible to override the spindle speed when ramping into material? I'm machining 316 Stainless and I wish to use a vortex strategy. I want to helix in, but the spindle rpm that i'm using for the smaller radial doc is too much for just ramping. Too much heat would be generated.

Is there any way to use a different rpm just during the ramping procedure?

No but you can use a different feed speed during ramping....

I mean, technically you could do it, but you would have to create it in two events rather than one. The first one ramping down, then the second one doing the milling starting from the bottom of the ramp.

Personally, I would just edit the code in the machine after i transferred it over. It should be as simple as adding an event changing the spindle speed...

Hello @zlancy244,

At the moment, we cannot set separate spindle speed for ramp moves. This feature request has been submitted to the development team and is being investigated.

Thank You.
