FeatureCAM Post Processor Basics ?s

I'm new to FeatureCAM and never had to deal with post processors before, so these may be noob questions. We have a couple of Ganesh Cyclone-32 CS that I like to NC code to run the machines easily. I inherited these tasks of getting FeatureCAM to work, the new revision parts only has minor changes in FeatureCAM but the NC code looks completely different than the old part NC code. I could cut and past the sections between the 2 NC files to get it to work with a lot of trial and error but is there a way to fix it so I can just output the NC code and load it into the machines, can this be done by modify the post processor or something? I'm told the person before modified the code manually each time to get it to work on the machines.

Also have a Swiss Citizen L20 VIII and the NC code outputted by FeatureCAM post processor is nothing like older revision NC code even with minor changes, is there also a way to get this to work properly?

Hi @Anonymous,

Hope you have selected a right post-processor from FetureCAM Options > Posting > Turn/Mill to generate nc code.

If this is done correctly, can you please create a support case from your Autodesk Account so that will be handled by a post-processor support team/

Thank You.

It's the correct post processor, there were 2 older revisions of this Ganesh post processors and they output similar code. I used MasterCAM a little in the past and get NC code that works right out of the post processor, so does FeatureCAM posts require a lot of tweaking to the post processor to outpute NC code to run on machines?
