FeatureCAM 2018 export DXF problem

My customer got the trouble in FeatureCAM 2018 that to export DXF file to other CAD/CAM software.

The round of profile are wrong position if export DXF file by FeatureCAM 2018. But it is correctly in the FeatureCAM 2012.
See "profile error.png" (2018) & "profile error - edited.png" (2012)  in the PNG file.zip.

We compare two DXF files and they are different value of ARC angle. See "compare.png"
2018: 0. > 45.
2012: 135. > 180.    << This is we need now.

Please help or advise this.

Regards,
Eamon

Hi @Anonymous,

Welcome to Autodesk Community!

I exported the geometry in dxf and imported back in FeatureCAM and PowerShape and found correct results in both the software. Refer the attached image and let me know if I am missing something.

Thank You.

Hi @abhishek.juvekar

Nice to see you.

This problem happen in OTHER software, not in FeatureCAM2018 or PowerSHAPE2018.

We try to compare the two DXF files which export by FeatureCAM 2012 & 2018, and discover they are different value of START and END ANGLE of ARC.

------

ANGLE(degree) :   START  >  END

form ver.2018:          0.      >   45.    <<   wrong result  in the software of customer , see "profile error.png"
form ver.2012:        135.    > 180.    << it is correct in the software of customer, see "profile edited.png"

How could we to do in v2018 to make the property of exported DXF file as like as v2012

Thank You

Hi @abhishek.juvekar,

It seems like the FeatureCAM 2012 not using the same export core with FeatureCAM 2018.

Is it possible to change the export option back to 2012?

thanks & regards,

Ben

Hello Emon and Ben,

It is not possible to change the export options back to 2012. However I verified it in Solidworks and there also the dxf exported from FeatureCAM imported properly without any problem with arcs. I am not sure in which software, these arcs are appearing incorrectly whereas Solidworks which is also an external software shows them correctly. Refer attached image from Solidworks and let me know if I am missing something.

Thank You.
