Extracting chamfers from solid

Why can't I extract chamfer from solid In feature recognition tab. AFR works.

If your solid model has square edges IFR will do it. It is intended to add deburring operations.

Hello @julior873G4,

In FeatureCAM, you can create chamfering/deburring operations using IFR , when the model does not contain these chamfers or deburr regions i.e on the sharp edges .

But it doesn't recognize chamfers if they are already created in solid model.  There is already a feature request 'A-018691 AFR/IFR: recognition of Chamfer Features' submitted to FeatureCAM development team.
