Draft Analysis in Featurecam

Hi, It´s possible to make a draft analysis in FeatureCAM 2016? or how can I measure an Angle if I have solid models? Regards,

The only way I have done this is to snap your own geometry on the model and use the dimension tools in your geometry bar.  You may have to put a vertical or horizontal line in there in addition to the one you placed on the angled surface to use this dimensional tool.  Also I think you have to make sure they are on the same plane to analyse it correctly.  Hope this helps!

This is way to find angles directly from a model.

Go to this FeatureCAM menu:

Construct>Curve>From Surface>Surface Projection

 - now click on "wall angle" and select two points along the angle (from the model). 

 - once it shows you the angle then you can cancel out
