API: How to get operation Max Depth?

hi all :

 

          how to get the operation max depth value?

 

          look pic , operation list is show each operation information. the depth value is not match (7.664mm), the Correct depth value is 42.336mm.  i use FMOperation.Depth & FMOPeration.DepthText can not get the correct value. Is there a solution to the problem? thx!

Hello @nicholas_wu 

 

This is because you are confusing two values.

7.6 is really the depth of the hole, i.e the distance from the top of the "cylinder" to the bottom.

Whereas 42.... is the coordinate of the hole bottom.

Two different concepts, so two different values.

So, you may need to use the GetFeatureLocation to grab the Z value, then substract the depth value to it.

    Thanks for your advice!!‌‌
I need the current toolpath(operation) max depth not the hole feature max depth! the bottom of the
hole feature to the zero position is 42, but i set the machine depth is 40, use GetFeatureLocation is not easy the calculate!
