i am trying to program a chamfer at a b53.00 angle but it is not coming out right any help would be appreciated.
We usually make a setup for each angle that we need to do work on the part. So we'd probably make a setup at B53.00 and do the face, hole, and chamfer cuts while there
I can't see what type of file it is. If it's milling, a new setup would work. If it's turnmill, you can set the B Angle in the Tool Axis tab.
thank you for the replies, it is a mill set up rotary . i did do a new set up at a0b53.00, got the hole and boss to work but got stuck on the correct way to do the chamfer. any help would be appreciated thank you.
i tried doing a chamfer from curve and it did not work. tried doing from surface-surface milling got it looking better but my Z is always way off
