Yes, and do it regulary. 

Also for custom ribbon ui backup ezfm_ui.xml.

So I am not finding this file anywhere...... Spent a bunch of time re-setting up my toolbars after changing to 2018, now I open it up today and its back to the stupid ribbons, turn them off and its back to the default toolbar setup.....

SO, where is the file supposed to be so I can back it up?

The easiest way to find it is in the secret menu at the bottom of the screen.  Hold ctrl. and Right click on the bottom and browse ezfm.ini folder there you will find all your configuration settings.

ARG, this is driving me insain...

OK, so I got my toolbars set up, and backed up EZFM_ui.ini, no problem....

SO, I exit Featurecam, and today I open it up, and the ribbon is back.....  OK... turn off ribbon.... And toolbars are back to the default setup....  No problem I think, I backed it up.... So I exit featurecam, and replace the EZFM_ui.ini in the folder with my backup, reopen featurecam, and the ribbon is showing again.... turn off ribbon, still the default toolbar setup....  

I have tried every combination I can think of.  I replaced the file with FC open, with FC closed, I unchecked the autosave to INI on close.

Every time I reopen FC, its the same thing, ribbon is showing, and default toolbar setup when I turn off the ribbon (also the autosave to ini checkbox is checked again)....

SO, am I just doing it wrong? whats the proper way to restore my backed up toolbar setup?

I wish I could just go back to FC 2016....

The .ini file is used for the older versions of FeatureCam, version 2018 uses ezfm_ui.XML. Back up that one.

Ah, based on posts above I thought that was just for the ribbon, which I dont want to back up.... Thanks.... 

It does seem silly that its included (and updated when you make changes) in 2018 if its not used.....
