Build a new computer with Windows 10.

Went to convert my object from FBX exported from Maya LT to DAE, and I cannot do it

Not enough parameters.  FBX doesn't give me any more parameters to set.

I can't convert even to FBX 2013 at all, that says NOT ENOUGH PARAMETERS, too.

What am I paying for then?

I found a work-around using this 'game exporter'.  Question though.

I have to do a lot of clicking on this 'game exporter' to get what I want out of it.  Why your application uses Y is up by default I DO NOT KNOW, NO ONE uses Y is up that I know of or have ever seen - but I've got to click the box every time.  In other words...

Why is it so difficult to get something into FBX converter that then has to be again converted into DAE?  This is such a goings-on, the kids might be OK with it, but at almost 40, it leaves me open to finding different, BETTER software.

TOO MANY STEPS to get a DAE out of this Maya LT + FBX combo.  Very inefficient.

Your FBX files that you try to convert are too recent for the FBXConverter and are not supported (this is why you get the "Not enough parameter" error. This program is deprecated and will accept only FBX files up to version 7.4. When you export from MayaLT, you need do change the "FBX Version" to "2014/2015". Note that you are, possibly, going to miss some newer data.
