How to structure FBX export to be displayable in Microsoft 3D-Viewer

I am exporting a physics simulation from a Qt3D scene in FBX format. FBX Review and Blender could easily load and animate the exported FBX. But Microsoft 3D-Viewer refuses to load and animate the exported file properly.
Are there any general rules regarding the exported structure I have to obey when targeting 3D-Viewer?
