FBX Review not starting

Hello guys, 
I got FBX Review installed and updated but after hitting the button and waiting for a while, the software does not open up nore showes an error message. How to debug? I reinstalled it twice already ... no solution in sight.

Hello, I still got the same problem ... reinstalled visual studio redistributable thingy and fbx review but still ... same problem ... 

How to debug? Please help.

Or if anyone knows a propper replacement for this tool - feel free to suggest.
