FBX Quicktime in Firefox

I am having issues getting FBX Quicktime to work in Firefox (version 3.5.3), but it works fine in IE 7. I get the message: Sorry! Error loading FBX file! Could not open the file. But I thought it was a self contained movie?

I am loading the file like so:

<a href="#" title="View technicals in real time 3D" onclick="MM_openBrWindow('/files/worksamples/technicals.mov','filmbox','width=640,height=420')">

Using this

function MM_openBrWindow(theURL,winName,features) { //v2.0
   window.open(theURL,winName,features)
}

I have also tried this:

embed src="files/worksamples/technicals.mov" width="640" height="420" auto
play="false" type="video/quicktime"

Neither option works. Same message in firefox.

Could it be in how I'm doing it?
