Placing Pits, factory floor is not opening

Hello, anyone have experience with placing pits into a factory floor where in some cases the floor is not opening?

It looks random to me , some assets work fine but for some assets there is no cut in the floor. Even for some standard assets from the System Assets which are from Autodesk I believe.

I tried the Round Pit from System Assets and it worked for me. What release are you using?

I also tried to change the height and a tried several sizes....

Which specific asset do you have problem with? If it's a user asset, can you share it? It'll be helpful if you can record a video starting from an empty layout.

My issue started with a user asset. This asset was migrated from 2016 and therefore I thought it could be failing due to the migration.

This is why I started testing the AutoDesk standard assets. I checked; System Assets /  Architectural / Pit and Platform / Pit

All pits , except for the  rectangular Pit are failing. The floor is not opening.

I also tested it with several project files including the Default.

Try this -

Go to Application Options->Sketch, and uncheck "Project objects as construction elements".

Yes, I found the solution just by trying different settings. At one point it worked and apparently it was the setting "project objects as construction elements" which needs to be unchecked to make this work.
