Continously crash with Inventor and Architectur 2016

Dear Sir or Madame,

since the 4th of November my Factory desig  suite is not running as it use to. Invenotr crashes during the opening phase of a file. And also during the synchronizing with Architecture.

We have refreshed all Autodesk upgrades and Windows upgrades. Also the Microsoft .Net Framework up to 4.6.

All the advices like CIP yes or no and Desktopanalysis has been turned as suggested from Autodesk.

please help.

Sorry you're having these problems.

Have you submitted any crash reports for these cases? If so, which e-mail address would you have used for the reports?

One thing to try:

  In Inventor, try disabling all add-ins from the Add-in Manager (set them all to not load at startup), and see if you still have crash issues when you open a file. This would help identify the scope, and potential trigger, of the problem.

Is this something that suddenly started happening? Or was there an upgrade or an installation that you did that seems to have introduced it?

these are some crash report numbers autoamtically generated after sending a failure report.

To switsch off the add ins in inventor i need to know how to search for the settings, since my Programm is installed in German languge.

your question when did it started:

it started with a ADLM report, which meant that Autocad cant find the license manager. Thats about the time when my Microsoft .Net FRamework started posing failures as well. I changed the Framework from 4.5.2 up to 4.6.

Set the adlm report manager from "manually" to "automatically" under Windos - R - Services.

i have switched off Customerinvolvementprogramm

switched off Desktopanalysis

Repaired the Software Factory Design Suite

Re.installed and Installed FDS

Hi again, and thank you for the response.

Unfortunately the crash reports don't have a lot of detail. It seems that there have been at least 2 different problems.

There was one issue with .NET 4.6, which I think Microsoft has fixed. Are you up-to-date with Windows Updates?

I'll ask around today to see if people are aware of specific issues.

I'm not sure exactly what the Add-In Manager is called in German, but you should be able to find it under the Autodesk/Inventor 2016 Program Group.

darf ich fragen wie Sie das Problem gelöst haben? Ich hatte dieses Problem im selben Zeitraum letzten Jahres. Nachdem ich mir einreden hab lassen dass Windows nicht funktioniert habe ich mein Betriebssystem neu aufgesetzt. jetzt 2 Monate später habe ich exakt dasselbe Problem wieder.

Kurios ist, dass Inventor im DEFAULT Projekt alle Dateien bearbeiten lässt allerdings ohne Zugriff auf Bibliotheken. Acad Architecture lässt sích nciht synchronisieren und auch die Multifunktionsleiste ist weg.

App Manager habe ich vor langer Zeit deinstalliert aber updates sind alle aktuell.

may i ask how you solved your problem? i have had this problem around same time last year. After trying many things i have set up my windows7 from new. Somehow FDS ran perfect until this week. Right now i cant work on inventor neither in dwg via Architecure. The only thing that i have noticed is; If i set Inventor to DEFAULT mode i am able to open files and work on them. But Architecture is not synchronizing and the multifunctionbar is missing.

the app manger i have disabled long time ago but all the autodesk updates are up to date so are the windows updates....
