Revit Fabrication - Edit Part Window Delay

The more content I add to my Revit Model the longer it takes to open the Edit Part window to adjust the size of my part or connectors (158mb 2018 Revit file - 17 secs for edit part window to open). Is it possible to speed up how fast this window opens? At the bottom of the screen there is a message that makes it seem like the time is being spent generating the 3D view of the part. (see below).

Has there been a solution to this yet. This is killing progress on multiple projects.

Thanks for the suggestion... we've identified the root cause here, and are working towards a solution.

Hi All-- you should now see an improvement in opening the Edit Part dialog in Revit 2019.1.  The issue was improved via a framework change.. the preview window framework prior to this change was essentially generating the entire view with all elements, then hiding all but the element in question.  The framework has been improved to only generate the element in question.

Please file a support request if there are still remaining issues so our team can collect the information required to reproduce.
