In CAD fabrication all parts will use the "carry over values" from the piece before it. Say I have an aluminum service that I am drawing spiral duct. When I add an elbow, say Lindab, the elbow then assumes that material, specification and service. In revit, that elbow will not assume the material for some reason and defaults to whatever the original .ITM material type is. So when you report the elbow the service and specification are correct but the material is incorrect. These carry over values need to work within Revit.
