We are a HVAC manufacturer working in both low integrity and high integrity specifications. We have found that the current straight types do not work for high integrity items in some cases and would benefit from a new option. We would require "2xU" to accurately position branches, access doors and other ancillary parts on our welded straights. None of the existing patterns work because 1 Part straight is too large for most parts and is not possible to fold, 2xL offsets everything 90 degrees, 4xL-M-F doubles the amount of welds required which is unacceptable to our quality requirements, 1xU,1xL puts all of the weld strain on one side of the item.
We would like to apply the seam in the middle of the sides, however if there was an option to not have seams on the bottom of the duct, this would be ideal because of quality requirements and stops any water pooling on the weld/seam
Item CID 1 and 35 would be required for this, 866 would not be necessary as we only decoil folded 2xL items
Please Kudos this request if this would also benefit your own fabrication facilities
