Structure and custom made items are not working in Revit

Dear All

I would like to use fabrication items in Revit, but the custom made items, what I created, didn't worked.

I created for example a holed flange with connectors and everything, and I could use in Fabrication very well. But when I open that service in Revit, the button is grey and I can't use it. I thought, maybe is it because it's custom made item, not CID but the same thing happened when I wanted to use native Fabrication structural elements in Revit.

Does somebody know, why I can't use this elements in Revit?

Autodesk is NOT supporting the structural patterns in Revit. They also are not supporting converted 3d models. They are doing this by not supporting the Pattern IDs. The custom item you created I assume was a converted model, there is a work around for this. I made a blog on how to get your converted 3d models into Revit, hope this is helpful.
