set down connectors and insulation

I am trying to setup a set down connector for a rolled TDF flange using Fabrication 2019.1.2 by following the Knowledge steps (which by the way have different screen shots even though they are supposedly the same version).
If I use the Revit MEP metric content, it tries to add a reducer between the bare flange and the stepped flange. If I follow the same process using the US metric template, the sheetmetal appears to be stepped but the linework doesn't show it (I suspect that the insulation liner is protruding thru the step).
Add to this is the ongoing problem with insulation. Fabrication sets an insulation spec'n such as foam or wrap, I added one called Glasswool and can then pick either inside or outside with a full size range. When going to Revit, the duct piece only has the insulation spec'n (liners and wraps) it seems to be a mix up between product and type. The only band-aid is to add all the sizes to foam liners and wraps, however this will screw up the BOG's etc etc.
Could someone please help with both issues.
