Sanitary Tee wrong direction (backwards)

Sanitary Tee wrong direction (backwards)

The Charlotte Cast Iron No Hub "NoNH28 - Sanitary Tee" when being added to a length of pipe with the attacher arrow, the branch comes in pointing the opposite direction of the way the arrow was pointing.

Under the fitting options, the Type is set to Supply. I changed it to Extract, and that fixed the directional problem, but then the branch location on the fitting got messed up. So I had to change it back.

Is there any way to fix this?

Thanks

what happens if you set the button script to "takeoff by other end" and set script to default?

I should have mentioned that in my initial post, but I did try that. The branch will come in facing the right direction, but it comes in upside down.

Autodesk support contacted me via e-mail over this issue, so hopefully that will get it resolved.

It's not anything major, more or less just an inconvenience.

But thanks for your reply.

Change the Inlet to 2 and the Outlet to 3

Thank you, but changing the inlet and outlet had the same effect as "Takeoff by other End", the fitting comes in upside down.

A combination of those two potential solutions put me right back where I started. So no luck there.

It was developed with Supply set, should have been developed set with Extract. Thats why this is happening. If you have Autodesks ear on this, tell them thats the issue and it needs to be redeveloped, as do other drainage fittings with that option.

I went ahead and fixed it and attached it for download. Because the Supply/Extract changed the product list had to change. See if this will work for you.

Haha I cant post and .itm cause its not a recognized extention...thats ironic. Gonna have to bring this one up to the powers that be. Email me and Ill send you the .itm over email. dronson@asti.com

I'm having this same issue with a handful of fittings coming in at 180 from the attacher. Any chance you can explain how you fixed this?
