Rotating control points and transferring proper measurements

Hello All,

I am working on transferring control points from the engineer/surveyor's drawing into my drawing with Trimble points. The engineer/surveyor's site drawing is a scale of 1"= 20'-0". As I try to measure the distance from the center of the column to the center of the yellow control point triangle, the measurement I get is not correct. There is something going on with the yellow control points as the measurement is reading 104.5599 from the center of the column to the center of the yellow control point triangle. When I draw a line right next to it from the center of the column, it reads closer to slightly over 5.something. So, that's a problem. I can't figure out what the exact measurement is bc the closer I get to the yellow triangle when drawing a line to check the measurement, the measurement starts to revert closer to 104.something. I copybase from the surveyor file into my file and paste the control points using the center of the column as my basepoint. The yellow triangle control points are placed inside the column in my drawing instead of outside the column and whatever measurement away from the center of the column as it is in the surveyor drawing (as I can't tell what the exact measurement is (see above explanation). I tried copybase with all three points in one shot and I've tried to copy them all three separately using a column closest to each different point. I still get the same results. How can I get an accurate measurement from the middle of the column to a point on the yellow control point triangle so that I place these control points correctly? I'm at a loss. I have two more screenshots to show but can only upload three at a time.
