Trying to install CAMduct 2020 or 2021 and got the error message

".net framework runtime 4.8 did not install (error code 87)"

How to work around it?

Computer System is Win 10 Pro

This is a Microsoft message so that is the place to hunt down a solution. 

Make sure Windows 10 is up-to-date and then try to instal .net 4.8 by itself. You can find it here:

CAMduct 2020 can be installed. There are .Net Frameworks runtime 4.8 issues for CAMduct 2021.
